The University of the Philippines - Diliman’s Department of History (College of Social Sciences and Philosophy) is celebrating its centennial anniversary (Congratulations!) and one of their projects this centennial year is to launch a new website.

Functioning primarily as an announcement tool and online inquiries for the Department, the website also features the faculty and staff with their respective profiles, course curriculum and recognized student organizations.

METAPIXEL Inc. (formerly known as METAPIXEL Media and Design), provided the artistic execution of using an old paper textured background for its content and tiling a Yakan cloth background for the paper placement. This dynamic website has a customized content management system (WordPress) for easy updating.

RCDC Online Travel.com, a fully-automated online-based travel agency with full ground operations catering to local and foreign tourists. Aside from the basic travel services, we also handle local and foreign travel provision. It is our sincerest pleasure to provide you and your fellow travelers with all pertinent assistance to assure you of a hassle-free trip, wherever you wish to go.

The main feature of this static website is the webform development in the form pages. The form is so good that it attracted Google bots and labeled it as an phishing instrument (of course it’s not).

Zamboanga Chong Hua High School – Official Website

A prestigious school from the beautiful city of Zamboanga, the Zamboanga Chong Hua High School finally decided to launch their official website thanks to its Alumni Association and METAPIXEL Media and Design.

Catering primarily to be the schools doorway to the world, the website contains almost every information of the school. The website also houses the Alumni Associations with their own website.

This is a 2-in-1 website both for the school and its Alumni Association. The website is basically a portal because of its dynamic features for both site. The Splash Page is our gift to the school for their 90years of existence and academic excellence, a traditional Chinese brushstroke painting of the dragon in a gold ball with their theme and pioneer pictures.

On this site, METAPIXEL Media and Design features the flash banner rotation program. Every time you refresh, the flash banner will play different slides for the 2 sites. The website also has a language enhancer; Simplified Chinese Translator for those who prefer to read it in Chinese. In the future, METAPIXEL Media and Design will make the website possible for online enrollment.

The website is not yet officially launched, but was up and running since April 7, 2009.

Atty. Miro Quimbo’s Official Website

Renowned public servant Atty. Romero Federico “Miro” S. Quimbo, former President/CEO of Pag-IBIG Fund, puts up his new official website with the professional help of METAPIXEL Media and Design.

You can find everything about Atty. Miro Quimbo in this website. With a built in and customized content management system (WordPress), this website is easily updated regularly, thus providing ease of access to his whereabouts.

The corporate apple green design for Atty. Miro Quimbo’s website is a theme that reflects Marikina City; his hometown where he is looking forward to serve as a public servant. Other features that are included in his website are the mini chatbox courtesy of the Wordpress WP-wall plugin, the featured image slider, and the dynamically updated photo gallery. All of these features are designed and customized according to the website’s theme.

U.P. Alpha Sigma Fraternity – Virtual Tambayan

Nowadays, organizations use New Media as a gateway to the world for its members. METAPIXEL Media and Design became a catalyst to strengthen unity and alas, the Virtual Tambayan was built.

The U.P. Alpha Sigma Fraternity’s Virtual Tambayan is an information website about its members (resident and alumni) and the organization. However, a Tambayan isn’t a Tambayan with no member interaction, and what you don’t see in this website is a secret access to the actual Virtual Tambayan.

The design is a simple corporate blue & gold theme same as the colors of the U.P. Alpha Sigma Fraternity. There are 2 news columns to post articles and announcements for events. Posting is dynamic and archived. The main page of the site is mostly support, but the forums (Virtual Tambayan) is the main feature of the site but is accessible to members only. Setting up the forum was one of the most challenging experience for METAPIXEL Media & Design. The security features that the site has is a milestone and a mark of excellence.

The website was launched on the fraternity’s 46th Anniversary, October 10, 2008
